Training Institute

Professionals in the health care field can receive continuing education units (CEUs) through our accredited seminars. The seminars cover a variety of subjects to meet your educational needs and your licensing requirements.


Seminars are held once a month at the Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati, which is located in the Rookwood Tower (3805 Edwards Road, Suite 500, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45209). Seminars range from 3 to 4 hours, with an occasional 6 hour session. The 3-hour seminars run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the 4-hour seminars run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Who should attend?


Counselors and Social Workers:

The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Cincinnati is an approved provider for the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board in Ohio.

Nurses:

Any continuing education activity that has been approved by other licensing boards will be accepted by the Ohio Board of Nursing for all nurses in the state of Ohio. You may use these continuing education units to meet your licensure requirement.


Nursing Home Administrators:

CEU approval for Nursing Home Administrators is individually applied for with each seminar through the Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators (BENHA). We are a Limited Provider for BENHA. (You may submit only six (6) hours of continuing education from a Limited Provider per year.)


Teachers:

Bring the seminar information to your Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) for CEU credit approval.
